22-05-2014 :: Guest Speakers at Eastbourne Support Group

Please find below details of the up-coming guest speakers and visitors at the Eastbourne Support Group. The group meets on alternate Wednesdays from 10am-12 midday, in the Wallace Bird Suite, St Elisabeth's Church, Victoria Drive, Eastbourne, BN20 8QX.

 

May 28th- Time 2 Talk

Joan Eades from Time to Talk is popping in.Joan will explain a little about Time 2 Talk, which aim to help young people and their parents understand each other better. The service is offered to older children, helping all parties to improve communication, and gain confidence toenable each to negotiate their way through arguments. This service is confidential, so if a parent would like to use Time 2 Talk, they will need to make contact directly with Joan after the visit.

 

June 11th- NAS Bexhill Support Group

We are being visited by Sarah Fletton, who runs a support group in Bexhill that is being funded by the National Autistic Society.

 

June 25th- Julie Morehead

Julie Morehead is the manager of SEND (Special educational needs and disabilities) reforms at County Hall, and is going to outline changes in reforms that will have an effect on our children.
